History
AIMB was founded in Nov. of 2016 by Qυєєη σƒ dα soυth (Big Sister Remix) and the other past founders . The queens were in previous sororities and knew what they wanted out of this one. Their vision was to see strong women come together as one sisterhood and be apart of a family where each sister had each other's back and loved one another by building a strong foundation that nothing could break. Alpha Iota Mu Beta actually wasn't the first name they had came up with. They had other choices, but went along with the name anyways. Good thing they did, Alpha Iota Mu Beta has been such a huge success ever since with bringing women together & so much more. AIMB was never about quantity it has and will always be about quality.
The first line was the "Beginning Line" which began Nov 13, 2016 and crossed Dec 11, 2016 which set the bar high for all upcoming pledge lines, with how we treat our sisters, how we're always there for our sisters, never judge our sisters on any actions they do, and strive to look for lost queens looking for a strong foundation of women to have her back when in need.
AIMB is known for their contributions as well. We have done multiple charities such as "Back Down Memory Lane" for Alzheimers, Black Tie Event/Panel for Mental Health Awareness, "Fighting Back to Diabetes", "Skate in the Name of Love" for Heart Disease Awareness; to name a few. We have given back to so many lives on & off SecondLife and continue to make an impact and try to change one life at a time.

MISSION STATMENT
Alpha Iota Mu Beta Mission
To live constantly above snobbery of word or deed; To place sisterhood before social obligations and character before appearances; To be, in the best sense, democratic rather than "exclusive" and lovable rather than "popular"; To work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand; To be womanly always; To be discouraged never; In a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my Sisterhood and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart that she may be a symphony of high purpose and helpfulness in which there is no discordant note.

Some revered the Lioness as the provider for her pride, and the meaning of providence and hunting skill remains intact. In Egypt the sphinx has the body of aLion, which was a sacred symbol of the Goddess who safeguarded the pharaohs in the afterlife.

The lotus is symbolic of purity of the body, speech, and mind as while rooted in the mud, its flowers blossom on long stalks as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. It is also symbolic of detachment as drops of water easily slide off its petals.
